      Hey fellow parents!

      Living outside of Iran, one of our biggest challenges is keeping our kids connected to their roots—especially when it comes to reading and writing in Persian. If you’re like me, you’ve probably asked yourself: How do I make sure my child learns Farsi properly while surrounded by a different language all day?

      Here’s what’s worked for me and other parents:

      1. Start early—but it’s never too late.
      If your child is young, start with simple Persian books and letter games. If they’re older, no worries—just begin at their level.

      2. Make it fun.
      Kids learn best when they enjoy it. Use cartoons, songs, playful apps, or colorful Persian storybooks. Turn learning into play.

      3. Speak Persian at home.
      It’s easy to slip into the local language, but hearing Persian daily makes a big difference. Consistency matters—even if it’s not perfect.

      4. Learn the alphabet with tools like farsiamoozi site and their YouTube channel.
      Their lessons are kid-friendly, include interactive games, and track your child’s progress. It’s a great place to build their foundation.

      5. Practice reading together.
      Choose a short story and read it out loud with them. Let them try sounding out words on their own.

      Find other Iranian families nearby, organize playdates or storytime in Persian. When kids see others learning too, it motivates them.

      وقتی خارج از ایران زندگی می‌کنیم، یکی از چالش‌هامون اینه که بچه‌هامون زبان مادری‌شون رو یاد بگیرن—به‌خصوص خوندن و نوشتن فارسی. اگه شما هم مثل من هستین، حتماً فکر کردین که چطور فارسی رو توی یه محیط غیرفارسی به بچه‌هام یاد بدم؟

      اینا چیزایی هست که برای من و خیلی از پدر و مادرهای دیگه جواب داده:

      ۱. هر چی زودتر بهتر، ولی هیچ‌وقت دیر نیست!
      اگه بچه‌تون کوچیکه، با بازی و کتاب‌های ساده شروع کنین. اگه بزرگ‌تره، اشکال نداره—از جایی که هست، شروع کنین.

      ۲. یادگیری رو جذاب کنین.
      بچه‌ها وقتی لذت ببرن، بهتر یاد می‌گیرن. از آهنگ، انیمیشن، اپلیکیشن یا کتاب‌های تصویری فارسی استفاده کنین.

      ۳.توی خونه فارسی صحبت کنین.
      اگه همش زبان خارجی بشنون، یاد گرفتن فارسی سخت‌تر می‌شه. حتی اگه ساده و شکسته حرف بزنین، مهم تکرار و استمرارشه.

      ۴. آموزش الفبا رو با farsiamoozi.com و کانال یوتیوبش شروع کنین.
      درس‌هاش برای بچه‌ها خیلی خوب طراحی شده، بازی‌محور و جذابه. روند یادگیری رو هم نشون می‌ده، پس می‌دونین چقدر پیشرفت کردن.

      ۵.تمرین خوندن داشته باشین.
      با هم یه داستان کوتاه بخونین، بذارین بعضی کلمات رو خودش بخونه.

      ۶. نوشتن رو کم‌کم شروع کنین.
      با نوشتن اسم خودش شروع کنین، بعد کلمات ساده و جمله‌های کوتاه.
      👉ویدیوهای آموزش خوش‌نویسی رو توی farsiamoozi یا یوتیوب ببینین تا دست‌خط تمیز و درست یاد بگیره.
      👉 برگه‌های تمرینی دست‌خط رو از سایت پرینت کنین—برای تمرین و تقویت خیلی مؤثره.

      ۷. خیلی صبور باشین.
      اشتباه کردن طبیعیه. لازم نیست همه‌چیز رو اصلاح کنین. با تشویق و استمرار پیش می‌ره.

      ۸. با خانواده‌های ایرانی ارتباط بگیرین.
      جمع‌های کوچیک کتاب‌خوانی یا بازی‌های فارسی راه بندازین. وقتی بچه‌ها ببینن هم‌سن‌هاشونم دارن فارسی یاد می‌گیرن، خیلی کمک می‌کنه.

      اگه شما هم راهکار یا تجربه‌ای دارین—چه چیزایی براتون جواب داده، یا حتی چه چیزایی جواب نداده—حتماً اینجا با ما در میون بذارین.

      بچه‌هاتون بیشتر با چی ارتباط گرفتن؟ با چی سختی داشتن؟
      بیایم تجربه‌هامون رو به اشتراک بذاریم و از همدیگه یاد بگیریم. آموزش فارسی توی غربت آسون نیست، ولی با هم راحت‌تر می‌شه ❤️
